I am looking for a career where I can make a positive change in the lives of people in the workplace. I believe mental wellness should be considered in the workplace because our mental health is just as important as our physical and emotional health.  I would like to have a career that varies with daily tasks, and I enjoy establishing relationships with the people I work with.  I enjoy getting to know new people, and I would like to take on leadership roles at work. Human Resource Management has many opportunities for career advancement and specializations, so I could take on many different positions throughout my career. I enjoy teaching people how to do new things, and I think I would like to be a part of the Training and Development stage to teach employees. Learning how to do something can take several tries before getting it right, but I strongly value learning from my mistakes! Additionally, I have strong communication skills, and I know how to make people feel welcome and validated when sharing their experiences.
