Our FBLA chapter attended a tour of Firespring on November 14th, 2023. Firespring is a marketing, printing, and website building company that is based in Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska. Our tour was led by Kasey Sendgraff, the Director of Talent at Firespring, and she helped us learn more about the functions of the agency. We got to walk through the print center, office areas, meeting rooms, and employee lounges, and she explained to us what sets Firespring apart from other work environments. Firespring values bringing your best effort every day and caring about what you do, as well as giving back to the community. By talking directly to the Director of Talent, I got to learn more about her role as a director and her journey with Firespring. I had originally planned on pursuing Marketing, but after this tour, I realized how much I enjoy the idea of striving to create a positive work environment. Firespring's unique company culture helped me realize that I could be the one to implement positive changes into a workplace through a career in Human Resource Management.
